Geoff Soord
Group Development Manager

Geoff joined the company in 1992 and has been Group Development Manager since 2005.

He is responsible for the management of all software development across the Group.

With over twenty years' experience in printing and imaging software development, Geoff has an in depth knowledge of print imaging technologies. He has overseen the construction of software from the early days of driving typesetters on custom hardware to modern day printer drivers on today's advanced operating systems.

Geoff learned the fundamentals of software development in the early eighties as a research and development technician with Smith and Nephew Research Limited, the international pharmaceutical giant. His previous educational background was in materials science.

Outside of work Geoff enjoys cycling and walking with his wife and two children. He is a Scout Leader and plays in a local folk music group.
