Mike Woods
Chief Scientist

Mike Woods joined Software Imaging in the late 1980s and has been Chief Scientist ever since.

In his role as Chief Scientist, Mike provides technical expertise to all parts of the Group, as well as assuming responsibility for continuing to drive forward the Group's technologies as head of the New Products Group.

Mike has over twenty years' experience in software development. Before joining Software Imaging, he worked for a number of research establishments, including the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory where he gained wide programming experience. Over the years, he has been a key contributor to the development of many of the Group's core technologies.

Mike holds a Masters degree in Computer Studies from Brunel University, London.

Mike regularly speaks at industry conferences. Beyond work, he is a family man and an active member of his local community. His hobbies include photography, reading and strategy games.
