Software 2000 Increases Commitment to Japan and Far East by Opening New Tokyo Office

OXFORD — October 22, 1999 — Software 2000 announced today that it has significantly increased its commitment to the Japanese and Far Eastern markets by opening a new office in Tokyo. The new office will provide increased service levels to its already substantial Japanese client base and establish a focal point for the development of new business opportunities in the Japanese domestic and Far Eastern markets.

The office is located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and is managed by Mr. Takafumi Sakamoto, a Japanese national. Mr. Sakamoto joined Software 2000 from a leading Japanese printer OEM where he was responsible for the support of its European distributors.

"The opening of this office and the appointment of Mr. Sakamoto demonstrates our commitment to the support of our existing valued customers in Japan and the Far East. They will benefit enormously from the presence of a Software 2000 office operating in their own language and in their own time zone" said Peter Lismer, CEO of Software 2000.
