Software 2000 Acquires Infowave Imaging Division

OXFORD — September 13, 2001 — Software 2000 Limited announced today that it has acquired the Imaging Division of Infowave Software Inc. of Vancouver, Canada. The division becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Software 2000 and will change its name to Strydent Software Inc.

Strydent develops the PowerPrint™ and StyleScript™ advanced printing technologies for Macintosh, Power Mac, iMac and iBook computers which it distributes worldwide through a well-established Retail network. The company has also developed a very successful OEM business with a customer list including Canon, HP, Samsung and many others.

Strydent will continue to operate from its present Vancouver base under General Manager Robert (Bob) Heath, who commented, "This is a great move for both companies and of course our customers, who will benefit from exciting new product developments as a direct result of the merger of technologies and capabilities.
