Software 2000 Teams with Oak Technology to Provide Industry Leading
GDI Solutions
OXFORD — November 7, 2002 — Software 2000, the world's
leading independent printer driver technology provider, today announced
a key partnership agreement with Oak Technology (Nasdaq: OAKT) enabling
them to provide Printer OEMs with complete GDI solutions for the
rapidly growing low-end color laser printer/mfp market.
Under this agreement Oak will develop multi platform raster laser
printer drivers for their Quatro based controllers using Software
2000's Sorcerer Driver Development Kit. These drivers will
be supplied to OEMs as part of complete GDI solutions which include
hardware, firmware and host drivers.
