Software Imaging New Global Imaging Group Announced
Targets
the Future of Digital Imaging
OXFORD — March 18, 2004 — In a move to further expand
operations, to complete its merger with Justway (announced on September
29, 2003) and to enhance its world-wide customer service and support,
Software 2000 has announced that all divisions will now operate as
part of a global imaging group called "Software Imaging".
Software
Imaging represents the merger of Software 2000 Limited, Justway
Co., Ltd, Justway Korea Co., Ltd, Strydent Software Inc., and Software
2000's
existing staff in Japan. All companies will continue to operate as before but
will now use the new Software Imaging name and a new corporate branding with
immediate effect. In addition, customers will now be able to choose from a
vastly expanded and fully integrated portfolio of new imaging products and
services.
Offices in Oxford – England, Fujisawa – Japan, Tokyo – Japan
and Seoul – Korea, Monterey – California, Vancouver -
Canada will provide a world-wide network of customer support, testing
and development centres. This global presence will allow Software
Imaging to deliver unparalleled levels of service and support to
its customers around the world. Software Imaging represents a focused
group of companies with a strong portfolio of intellectual property,
patents and technologies targeted to deliver value to the imaging
market.
The Component Driver Architecture (CDA) toolkits for PCL5e, PCL5c,
PCL XL and PostScript and Sorcerer toolkits for GDI Laser and raster
color will now be serviced and supported by each office in the customers'
native language. Products from Justway such as JATT (automated testing)
and their customized driver development and driver testing services
will now also be offered on a worldwide basis.
Mr. Tony Harris, Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Software

we acquired the Justway group. We can now drive the whole combined
group of companies forward under a single name and look to a bright

push into embedded imaging, advanced digital imaging, mobile printing,
industrial imaging, wide format and the pre-press and digital press
markets. These new markets will further expand and build upon our
strong position in the desktop laser, digital copier and inkjet markets." Mr.
Takeshi Yamamoto, President of Software Imaging in Japan commented, "My
