Software Imaging Establishes Color Consultancy Group
Launches Dedicated Color Consulting Service
OXFORD — May 7, 2004 — Software Imaging is pleased to
announce the creation of a dedicated color consultancy group, offering
unique, advanced, color consultancy services to OEM printer manufacturers
and ISVs.
This new color consultancy group supplements Software Imaging's
existing service offering and provides a complete set of dedicated
color services, ranging from training and support, calibration and
characterization through to printer driver development and customization
for OEM and supplies vendors.

can be applied at the different stages, through a chain of hardware
and software has been a major industry problem" says Stephen

access to the new color consultancy group, imaging companies will

The newly created color consultancy team is based in Oxford, England
and will assist imaging companies looking to solve color management
problems in printer drivers and Postscript RIPs. The group has already
been involved in a number of highly successful projects including:
- Consulting on and integration of (proprietary or ICC based) third
party color management systems into RIPs and printer drivers.
- Consulting to OEMs and ISVs on color print workflows.
- Consulting on and delivery of photo ink color management systems.
- Color management, calibration and half-toning for hi-fi color
systems such as CMYKOG.
- Calibration and characterization for high quality color tables.
- Delivery of a range of characterized drivers for a well known
media supplier.
