InkSaver Debuts in Japan: Consumer Friendly Software
Launches in the Japanese Retail Market
Unique Software Solution Enables Japanese Consumers to Drastically
Reduce Printing Costs
VANCOUVER, CANADA - September 17, 2004 - Software Imaging
Limited is pleased to announce the Japanese launch of its award-winning
InkSaver software through their Tokyo-based republishing partner,
Media Navigation, Inc.
InkSaver is an easy-to-use software application that helps consumers
around the world battle the high cost of ink. InkSaver works with
all inkjet printer brands to reduce the amount of ink a printer consumes
while maintaining print quality and saving up to four times the amount
of ink that the printer would normally use. This is accomplished
by using advanced algorithms to intelligently reduce the ink needed
to print documents or images.
“With the release of the Japanese version of InkSaver, Japanese
consumers will now have the ability to take control of their inkjet
printing costs,” said Kevin Jampole, Chief Operating Officer
with Software Imaging Limited, “We are pleased to be working
with Media Navigation, as they have an established track record of
successfully republishing innovative and best of breed software products
in Japan.”
“InkSaver is currently enjoying tremendous success throughout
markets in North America, South America, and Europe; its introduction
into the Japanese market was a logical step for Software Imaging
Limited to increase its presence in the global software market,“ said
Mr. Jampole.
“We are happy to be able to give Japanese consumers the ability
to save money on their printing; especially given that research has
shown that the high cost of printing is the number one concern of
inkjet printer owners,” said Toru Yokoyama, President and CEO
of Media Navigation, Inc. “We feel that InkSaver will be
a tremendous success in the Japanese market.”
The Japanese version of InkSaver has a suggested retail price of ¥4800
and is sold through retail stores such as LAOX, Yodobashi Camera,
EDION, Yamada Electric, K’s Electric, Best Electric and through
