ColorCore More Details

ColorCore builds upon Software Imaging's PrintMagic™ raster technology that enjoys wide renown within the desktop printing industry for the quality and speed of its error diffusion halftoning.

Proven Success

This was first seen with the introduction of desktop photo printing in the EPSON® Stylus Color Printer and now supports all of today's industry standard inkjet systems, including those from Hewlett Packard® and Canon®. ColorCore continues to provide these rendering services as part of the PrintMagic/Sorcerer package and these are now being made available for integration into other third party print systems including printer drivers.

Consistency Across Platforms

ColorCore delivers consistency of output regardless of the target platform. ColorCore has been developed to be easily deployable across a range of hardware and software platforms, from desktop operating systems such as Macintosh OS X, Windows Vista and Linux, through to embedded systems.

Embedded implementations of ColorCore are available for the ARM family of embedded processors and other processors/Operating System environments upon request. The SDK contains ColorCore libraries for Windows, Macintosh and Linux. Versions for other hardware and software platforms are available on request.
