Test Files : Improved Driver Testing And Better Print Quality

Since its inception, Software Imaging's business has mandated only the most stringent testing tools for its own products. We have developed a substantial library of test files and amassed extensive experience in driver testing. Although there are a small number of third party testing tools and files available from other 3rd parties, typically these focus on firmware validation and have proved inadequate for Software Imaging's own, intensive, internal testing requirements. We have therefore developed a dedicated set of test files and test tools designed to cover multiple geographic regions, operating systems and regional application software programs.

Sharing Our Knowledge & Experience

Software Imaging is now making these tools available externally for use by our OEM customers. Using the same exacting standards that they have always demanded from their supplier, printer OEMs will now have access to the same test tools to be able to provide enhanced driver testing and assured print quality for their customers.

Software Imaging's driver testing services are built around a suite of powerful test tools and supporting test files. Available under license, the suite enables printer OEMs to perform their own testing and product validation using a comprehensive set of test files (SITF).

Far Eastern Test Files

Software Imaging's Far East Test Files Suite consists of nearly 1300 files created in localized and geography-specific versions of popular applications in Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese. For each language there are 13-18 applications and 10-15 test files per application. These files are available under license from QualityLogic.
